Our CMD View Towards Sustainability
"At Ami Lifesciences, we're not just developing life-saving medicines; we're building a healthier future for generations to come. Sustainability is the cornerstone of this vision, ensuring a thriving planet for people and progress in healthcare."
CMD Message
At Ami Lifesciences, we believe that how we make our medicines matters just as much as what we make. In an era where global healthcare and environmental urgency intersect, we are embracing our dual responsibility—to heal patients and to protect the planet. While we have long been recognized for our innovation and quality in Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients (APIs), our sustainability journey has been given equal importance . The direction was always clear: forward with intent, action, and accountability. .
In FY 2024-25, we were proud to be awarded the EcoVadis Gold Medal, placing us among the top 5% of companies worldwide for sustainability practices. This milestone strengthens our resolve to raise the bar across our operations—redefining what it means to be a responsible pharmaceutical company in today’s world.
From greener chemistries and efficient utilities to improved waste systems and supply chain engagement, we are integrating sustainability not as a checklist—but as a mindset. Every formulation we refine, every audit we welcome, and every improvement we implement brings us closer to our vision of a cleaner, safer, more conscious pharmaceutical future.
We recognize that true leadership is not a destination but creating an organization that outlives your lifespan and leaves the world better than what you inherited. As we continue to grow, we are committed to deepening our ESG practices, collaborating across our ecosystem, and listening to the planet and society as closely as we listen to science. At Ami Lifesciences, we are not just keeping pace with sustainability—we are helping define it for the pharma industry of tomorrow.

Sustainability Head Message
In FY2024-25, we were proud to be awarded the EcoVadis Gold Medal, placing us among the top 5% of companies globally for our sustainability performance. This recognition validates our strategic direction and the tireless efforts of our employees and stakeholders, particularly in areas such as green chemistry innovations, resource and utility efficiency, waste minimization, and responsible supplier engagement.
Looking ahead, our operational sustainability roadmap is clearly defined and anchored in practical execution. We aim to expand the adoption of greener synthetic routes and transition further toward renewable energy sources. At the same time, we are deepening collaboration with our suppliers to align on measurable ESG performance criteria. Our focus also remains strong on reducing process-related waste and emissions across all manufacturing sites. To ensure sustained improvement and transparency, we are enhancing our internal capabilities through data-driven performance tracking and robust preparedness for third-party sustainability audits.
For us, sustainability is not a checklist—it is a continuous pursuit of meaningful impact. As we grow, we remain committed to driving scalable and science-led sustainability practices across our value chain. Together with our dedicated teams and responsible partners, we are shaping a future where every API we manufacture supports not just patient health—but also planetary health.

Head of Human Resources Message
We are building a culture where sustainability is lived daily, each moment and just not a piece of document. During FY 2024‑25, we enhanced our learning and development programs, embedding critical themes such as ESG awareness, greener chemistry, industrial safety, and data-driven decision-making. Our HR-led cross-functional engagement models encourage collaboration across R&D, Operations, EHS, and Supply Chain—ensuring every team understands its role in achieving our shared sustainability outcomes.
We also strengthened grievance redressal and remediation mechanisms to promote a culture of transparency, trust, and psychological safety. These updates reflect our broader commitment to aligning people practices with global sustainability standards.
True transformation happens when employees not only understand the 'what' but also connect deeply with the 'why' behind sustainability. Our actions have been focused to cultivate a workplace where every employee is a catalyst for ESG impact. With the right culture, the right systems, and the right mindset, we’re not just supporting our sustainability journey—we are making it impactfully irreversible.
