Ami group was Established in the 1997 by Mr. Girish Chovatia to cater the pharmaceutical market with a vision to be globally focused.
In the year 2002 company acquired its first manufacturing unit at Vadodra ( Baroda) to manufacture mainly Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients (APIs) and Active Pharmaceutical Intermediates. In the year 2004, company started its second manufacturing unit at surat in the name of Ami Organics Pvt for the Pharmaceutical Intermediates and Advanced Pharmaceuticals Intermediates.
Since April 2006 this unit is known as Ami Lifesciences Pvt Ltd.
The total manpower employed in the group is more than 400 people, of which 75 work in the R&D, QA, IPR, QC and RA . The total reaction capacity of all the manufacturing facilities stands at 150 m3. |
